have you ever been standing in water, waist deep watching the rafts of mullet go by with trout bustin' through them as close as 10 feet....and can't get the trout to hit anything???? been there done that... used soft plastics..topwaters..suspension baits.. and even live shrimp..etc...there were shrimp mixed in with the mullet. all to no avail... started to go get my cast net..........stayed 2 hrs watching the fish... current was very lite.. but should have been enough . could have caught reds or black drum but it was trout we were after.. see you on the water...captmac
