weather was great... wind down... surf is still working with live bait... water is murkey to dirty in the surf so the artificials didn't fare to well... croaker did really well. looks like it will hold thru the weekend.. the water should clear... still gettting good numbers of reds from the back lakes..with a few trout.. SA bay still holding a few fish even with the fresh water.. tides are still going out and should be close to normal by sat or sunday.. W Matagorda bay still giving up a few good trout to topwaters.. Off to the races at Ft. Worth.... be back monday... 'till then... capt mac
