weather has been great.. wind has pretty much layed in the am.... in the pm it gets up a bit but not much.... fresh water from san antonio bay is beginning to appear in espirit tu santos bay.. reds are beginning to school. the trout bite is somewhat spotty.. here today gone tomorrow... shrimp under a poppin' cork has been working the best if you can find some good bait sizes shrimp... most of them look like they are from 10-12's to 16-18's.. should be on the grille not on a hook..we have a banner crop of rat reds... 16-19 1/2... wait 'till sept... som of those will be keepers..mostly for the last week we have had good catches of reds and spotty on the trout.. fall is almost upon us....
