water temp early am..83-84 got up to 86 or 87 depending where you were.. out topwater bite is back.. from dark thirty to 9-9:30.. wading the s shore of w matagorda bay.. currents have been strong the past few days..the water is fresh on top and sometimes down to 2 '...water is dirty to really dirty... topwater early to croaker later.. soft plastics slow... but a few being caught. if you are in areas where drop-offs occur... tie a life vest to your wading belt.... cheap insurance.. if you need it ...it's there.. some 1/2 to 3/4 limits... more limits coming with croaker.. more fun with topwaters... don't forget the fishing and hunting show this weekend.. 26th..27th..and 28th..
