water..weather..wind.. all at good levels... northers in june?????.. puts off the fish for a day or two.. water is finally going down a bit.. this will concentrate the fish a bit.. shrimp still the best but has been in short supply.. hard to find.. croaker filling in the voids.. those wading with artificials doing well. topwaters early/soft plastics later.. sa bay has a lot of fish but most are 15-16... tarpon have been showing up in the surf...as close as the 2nd gut.... friend of mine has been fishing the surf... with trout tackle... tarpon 4 friend 0 with 6 or 7 lost topwaters..you could not pull the topwater fast enough to get it away from the tarpon... trout in the surf has been good when calm enough.. currents have been getting a bit slow.. match the bait..
