almost no wind this am////at 5:30.... went to one of our secret spots(secret....means only about 100 other people know where it is)..water temp 77-78 slicks poppin' up... you could smell them.. throwing topwaters.. black top dog jr...silver sides.. first light is not until about 6:05 or 6:10... dark thirty... .. you could hear the mullet.. only fished 2 hrs.. had 6 keeper trout 20-23 and one giant gafftop which we returned to the water... topwater time is here... sitting here thinking i should have stayed for the later bite at the tide change//or i should have been there at 4:30 am... oh well.. back at them tomorrow.... weatherman says wind will blow this weekend.... from the s/se... that puts you on the s shore.... which is where you should be anyway... see you on the water ...captmac
