water temp 76-77... winds ...higher than they should be.... mucho people on the water.. troutmasters is here on sat and sun... wading wet... first time this year... it got a little cool when the sun went behind the clouds.. didn't set any records... normally 1/2 limits for the parties.. size of trout ranged from 17-22... no large fish....although sat in troutmasters large trout leader was approx 7.2 and 2nd was 6.85.. don't know about sunday (final troutmaster leader board)... baits ranged from bass assassins... glo/chart...pumpkinseed/chart....shrimp under a poppin' cork.. (topwaters.. largest fish.... 8.5 # gafftop on a superspook...) theres slime in the ice machine... let it go and washed slime off me for 30 min. spring is about to break through... fish are starting to show up at different places normally associated with spring..... will let you know on troutmasters standings as soon as i hear... see you on the water..
